Vivienne Levy

Dental Surgeon
I am from Liverpool and trained as a dentist at the London Hospital Medical College (LHMC) qualifying in 1986. A few years working in London in various dental practices followed, as well as getting a qualification in Forensic Odontology in 1988 (LHMC) and then working part time as an Honorary Lecturer also at LHMC.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and keep up to date with current changes in dentistry attending many courses and lectures. I am a member of various professional bodies including the NZ Dental Association, where I am a Past president of the local Canterbury Branch.
The Forensic side of my career is busy too. I am the Forensic Odontology Co-ordinator for Canterbury, West Coast and Nelson working for the Police and the Coroner. I was deployed to Phuket after the Boxing Day Tsunami to help identify the victims of the Tsunami. More recently I was the DVI Dental Ante-Mortem and Reconciliation Co-ordinator for the Christchurch Earthquake and then the Am co-ordinator after the Mosque attack.
My partner of over 30 years Charles and I have 3 great kids who always surprise me and make me proud. My interests include travel, reading, theatre, music, other people and anything I have not done or seen before.
Sarah Cruickman

Dental Surgeon
I am originally from Dundee, Scotland and I graduated in 2004. I spent the following 5 years working in Edinburgh and Dundee working in both NHS practices and the Community Dental Service treating dentally anxious and special needs patients. I also completed my membership exams (MFDS) with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.
I moved to Hawkes Bay in 2009 for a 2-year working holiday and loved it so much that I decided to stay in the Bay. I consider New Zealand to be home now. I worked in private practices up there and was a member of our local New Zealand Dental Association. Our family made the decision to move to Christchurch this year and I started with Longhurst Dental in February.
I am interested in all areas of dentistry and I aim to provide quality dentistry in a safe and comfortable environment. I regularly attend dental courses and conferences to keep up with the latest innovations and techniques.
Outside of dentistry, I spend my time with our young family experiencing everything that Christchurch has to offer. I have always loved to travel and I am looking forward to exploring a new Island!
Kelsey Trotter

Oral Health Therapist
Kelsey has been working in dentistry for the last 13 years. Before gaining a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Otago in 2019, she worked as a Dental Assistant which is when she discovered her passion for preventative dental care. Since graduating, Kelsey has worked both locally and in Australia.
Kelsey grew up on Banks Peninsula and loves the wonderful community of Halswell.
In her spare time Kelsey enjoys disc golf and all things music-related.
Megan Bracefield

I have worked in the dental industry over a twenty year period. Initially working in the surgery as an dental assistant, and in more recent years as a receptionist.
My background in dental assisting gives me empathy and knowledge for patients needs. Complimenting this, my background in hospitality and tourism provides the right balance of customer service.
I love spending time outdoors, enjoying new experiences with my family, and reading a good book.
